03. Holograms
After Effects

Running Time: 23 minutes, 22 seconds

In this tutorial, you will learn various techniques to achieve the look and feel of a sci-fi hologram. We will briefly cover topics such as Blending Modes and Track Mattes, as well as using Adjustment Layers to achieve some of the desired effects.

The finished product will leave you with a nice glowing hologram that can turn on/off and has a transmition interference flicker. It will be projected from a beam of light.

NOTE: I'd just like to quickly mention that my mouse is being all weird at the moment, and several times in the tutorial the mouse thought I had double clicked when I'd really only single-clicked. That is why when I was typing in the values, it kept un-highlighting it all so it wouldn't overwrite the value with what I typed, resulting in massive values and un-desired results ;D. Also, I don't know why, but my computers performance was terrible!
It's my first tutorial, so go easy on me! Hehe...
